Documents should be completed, but NOT signed before the notary arrives. All signatories MUST be present with a Valid Government Issued Photo ID (cannot be expired).

A Notary Public verifies only the identity of the individual(s) who signed the document and not the truthfulness, accuracy or validity of that document.  

All questions or concerns regarding the document should be directed to the requesting agency before the notary arrives.

Live Scan Fingerprinting is a criminal background check using electronic images of your fingerprints to check for criminal activity. 

Securing a Criminal Background check is a requirement for employment, licensure or certifications in many industries, including, but not limited to:

Nurses
Doctors
Pharmacist
EMT Drivers
Tow Truck Drivers
Attorneys
Veterinary Technicians

It is the responsibility of the Requesting Agency to provide the Applicant with the BCIA 8016, REQUEST FOR LIVE SCAN SERVICE form. All Applicants MUST have a valid government issued photo identification, such as a Driver's License, which CANNOT be expired.

Applicants must provide a sanitized worktable, near a power outlet to set up equipment. Table must be at least 4 to 6 feet long.

2hr Event for Group Mobile Live Scan Services

Mobile Witness Services for documents that may require a disinterested party to act as a witness in lieu of notarization.  

Please note, when acting as the Notary, Suzanne CANNOT also act a disinterested witness on the same document. If you have a document that requires both Notarization and Witness Services, please let Suzanne know and she can assist you in hiring a 3rd party individual to act as a Witness, if you need . These individuals are not affiliates or employed by SWI.  They set their own rates.

Mobile Witness Services

An Apostille from the Secretary of State authenticates a document for use in a foreign Country.. The Secretary of State will verify the authenticity of the signature of the public official, the capacity in which the public official acted and, if applicable, the authenticity of the seal or stamp on the document.  The Secretary of State can only authenticate the signature on documents issued in their State and signed by one of their Public Officials including : 
Notary Publics
County Clerks and their deputies,
County Recorders and their deputies, and
the State Registrar
Vital Records, such as Birth, Death, Marriage, Divorce and Adoption, as well as Diplomas are some of the documents that may require Apostille Services. Apostille services are available for all 50 States.  Apostilles cannot be issued for US Territories, such as Puerto Rico, Guam, United States Virgin Islands, Northern Mariana Islands or American Samoa.

Manual Fingerprints Ink Cards are used for criminal background checks.  Impressions are taken manually with ink and applied to an FD-258 Card or whatever card you present.
